Just 20 years old, Stephanie Rice hopes to make an excellent impression in her Olympic debut. With slightly competitive inspiration from her now ex-boyfriend Eamon Sullivan, Stephanie started going after her own record.

She always remembers back to watching the swimmers at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and feeling nothing but awe.

Stephanie’s career hit a bit of scandal when the media took pictures from her Facebook page and tried portraying her as a ‘party girl’.

Swimming Australia asked her to take the photos down, but that was the worst of it, as Rice felt confident the public knew the media was trying to twist things around.
