Though she was scheduled to play in women’s doubles for tennis, her partner has since withdrawn from the games. However, Tatiana will still be trying her hand by playing in the women’s singles despite a number of back problems that have hindered her 2008 season.

Tatiana is known well for the Wimbledon knickers scandal. Despite Wimbledon’s all-white attire requirement, Tatiana donned red knickers that caused a stir she has yet to escape completely. She brushes it off, however, stating that color shows strength and confidence.

She entered her first Grand Slam in 2004 at about age 16 and has been impressing people ever since despite ankle and back problems.
