When you think of high speed chases and DUI charges, the last thing that comes to mind is a child being behind the wheel. But that’s exactly what the police discovered when this shocking chase ended.

An eleven year old girl was driving a car that an officer caught speeding in a Florida resort town. When he turned on his lights, the car sped up and the chase began.

The girl reached speeds up to 100 miles per hour and sideswiped another vehicle. The chase ended when she flipped the car. Amazingly, she incurred only minor injuries. The child racked up a long list of charges, including driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
