Ever since the classic comedy Red Dwarf aired it’s last show in 1998 on a cliffhanger ending there has been talk of more shows to come. However, a decade later the Red Dwarf audience have been denied of any new shows, but this is about to change.

There was talk of a new Red Dwarf movie and a script was written but Doug Naylor, a Red Dwarf writer, was unable to secure funding for the movie.

Back in August 2008 we heard news of a brand new 1 hour special in the works complete with the original Red Dwarf cast. You can see Robert Llewellyn discussing the new special in the radio interview below:

Despite having 10 million subscribers worldwide, and picking up new ones every day, WoW remains the domain of the geek, or at least that’s what traditional media would have us believe.

So when a new Web based comedy drama about a mismatched group of online role-playing gamers found its way on to YouTube last October, 1 million nerds watched it.

The show is the brainchild of Felicia Day, a geeky yet attractive professional actress who regularly appeared on Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
