When I saw the ad for ‘Free Cleaner’ on Glasgow’s GumTree I thought that poor bugger has really been hit hard by the recession, they’ll clean your house for free just for the chance to get paid work.
However, it turns out that this particular cleaner has an immense love for the job. So much so that payment is not even wanted providing appropriate maid clothing can be worn. But before those lonely red-blooded scottish blokes browsing GumTree think they’ve hit the jackpot with a free maid they better read the small print:
‘Marie’ is so keen to get the job she has even posted a video which showcases a sample of her maid ‘skills’. Before the recession ‘Marie’ might have been able to charge for these valuable services.
