12 People Are Speaking Their Mind

  1. It must be said that TVTonic is NOT really an alternative way to watch the Olympics online because since they’ve partnered with NBC, you again need to have Vista for their broadcasting software to work for Olympics broadcasts.

    Screw NBC

  3. NBC (and the IOC) have got their heads up their collective asses. What kind of freedom is this? I should have gone to China or UK or Canada (that I can do and maybe should leave right now) or some other civilized country that offers free media access for all.

2/ The high quality tv stream you suggested refused to work with media player

  10. where in TVUPlayer i can see the olympics… wich channel i mean i have like 4 hours looking everywhere

  11. dosnt matter if they are in chinesse

  12. @jaybee:

You wanna come to China for some free media? ROFL, I think you must know very little about media conditions in China. I happen to live in China and I can guarantee you that the media here is anything but free. And if you wanna watch the olympics here, you will have to settle for whatever games the Chinese are participating in, with only a few exceptions such as basketball and football (soccer). They would rather do re-runs of China’s victories of yesterday than have live transmissions of what’s actually happening as we speak. With their umpteen channels, they will have 4 of them simultaneously broadcasting the same ping pong match while there is absolutely no coverage WHATSOEVER of, for instance, handball. One of their slogans for the olympics is “where the world comes to share”, but what a joke this is when all they are interested in is self-glorification.
