The auto-tune phenomenon is picking up pace all the time. Bad singers and rappers who wanted to appear more talented starting using the method before the auto-tune the news bods got in on the act.
This video combines a few of the best viral videos from the last few months and auto-tunes the whole thing together. So we get to see Kanye West, Charlie (bit my finger) and Balloon Boy singing their hearts out.
Kanye’s interruption of Taylor Swift at the MTV VMAs works brilliantly when auto-tuned. It could almost be turned into a Kanye record – and would probably sound better than his usual fayre if it were.
Then comes the kids from Charlie bit my finger, which again works brilliantly being auto-tuned. And lastly, it’s Balloon Boy, which is really only there for a replay of the dad’s face when the kid reveals the truth and vomits in a Tupperware dish.
