TVLand’s highest rated original show ‘High School Reunion’ is about to wrap up it’s first season. So far, the reality/documentary-style show Has proved to be a hit for those in their 40’s.
If you’re a late 80’s graduate, what are you waiting for? The entire first season is now streaming online for free!
Frontline has been CBS’s most respected documentary TV program since the early 80’s. Since then, 480 documentaries have been produced as part of the Frontline series.
And now 66 of them can be seen for free in their entirety online.
DemocraticMedia is a YouTube channel that is entirely dedicated to political documentaries. In all, the channel has over 360 videos that include countless full length documentaries from Michael Moore’s ‘Sicko’ to CNBC’s ‘The Age of Walmart.’
You don’t have to be a democrat to enjoy these movies.
MTV knows that most people on the go only have minutes of free time to enjoy a show, which is why they’ve been expanding their content to include shorter and more easily accessible web series. The latest of which is titled ‘North Palm Wrestling.’
And it does a pretty good job of cramming half an hour worth of funny into 5 minutes.
Earlier this year, when Jackass 2.5 was premiered for free on the web, Viacom also stated that the JackassWorld site would soon include ‘Jackass’ full episodes.
Now, Viacom has finally fulfilled their promise and have made every ‘Jackass’ episode available for free viewing, as well as every season of the spin-off show ‘Wildboyz.’
Dove knows how hard life is for women in their 20’s, and apparently MTV does too. The two companies have teamed up to create a new micro series that premieres every Monday in conjunction with MTV’s highest rated show ‘The Hills.’
Oh, and did I mention it stars Alicia Keys?
Apparently, the the higher ups that run the BET television network can’t take a joke. When a promo clip of the show that involved a fictional hunger strike was released, CEO Debra Lee and president Reggie Hudlin threatened to sue the producers for defamation.
You won’t see this episode anytime in the US, but you can still catch it here on WebTvHub.
For Japanese citizens, Dot-Anime (.ANIME) is one of the country’s largest anime sites that provides viewers with over 4000 full anime episodes to stream with a click of a mouse. However on the US version of the site, not even one episode has been made available.
That is, until now…
Disney is soon to be the latest television company to realise the potential of the Web as a means of selling their television shows.
The company’s website Disney.com is expected to become a Web TV portal with classic shows available to watch online, though it may not be completely free.
According to The New York Times, Robert A. Iger, the Chief Executive of The Walt Disney Company told shareholders of the move at a meeting last Thursday.
